When I am browsing internet, I sometimes see images replaced with ugly placeholders because whoever uploaded that image, either used a free hosting platform, stopped paying for it, or the service closed at some point. I am not shaming anybody for not being able to afford and keep paying for a hosting service. But it is not fun to see a “No image available” placeholder rather than that image, picture, graph or whatever it was. Sometimes it was part of a tutorial, but now it is nothing but lost knowledge.
I know there is ๐ Wayback Machine but we can’t rely on Internet Archive alone to keep the human knowledge alive. Some sites went under before Internet Archive could crawl them.
The things I shared on the internet to not suffer the same destiny as long as possible, I thought using my website to host them would be the best option.

Christmas Hat 2025: a small artwork with CC0 license.
Two editions: Full size and Misskey avatar decoration.
I wanted to add a Christmas hat as an avatar decoration to Edmontonian Social, but didn’t think of checking for already available artworks with Creative Commons license. So, here you go. Merry Christmas.
