I would like to offer my condolences to everyone in Bondi Beach Jewish community. Pointing gun at civilians is not an act of any religion. It is a disgusting incitation effort.

The disgusting creatures shooting at innocent people in Bondi Beach are not different from the disgusting creatures shooting at innocent people in Gaza. It is not Muslims or Jews that is under attack, it is our humanity. They want to convince us that we are enemies to each other.

A Canadian cannot speak on this matter ?

You may think that I feel no pressure as a person living in Canada, therefore find it easy to say whatever that comes to my mind without understanding the situation in the middle east. You could say the same thing to someone in Australia. But it is apparent that being on this or that side of any pond makes no difference. Because this is not a fight against Muslims in Palestine, or Jews in Israel, or whatever you want to call it.

It is more clear than ever that our core human values are under attack. Humanity everywhere should feel the grieving that is caused anywhere. If there is any effort that will bring peace, it is not efforts of believers of this or that ideology, but a collective, a united effort of us all.

When I pray, it is for all humans. This is because Prophet Muhammad (may peace be upon him) visited his Jew neighbours in their sickness, and traded with them in the market, just like he did with his Muslim neighbours, and also his Christian neighbours, and any other faith, or no faith neighbours. Before he was a prophet, he was a human. This is the lesson I learned, and this is the lesson I preach.
